Community Futures Development Corporation of the Shuswap (CFDCS) is a non profit organization funded through Western Economic Diversification.

Our mission is to facilitate ongoing development of a sustainable diversified economy by providing current business guidance and support in our communities.

Who We Are
Community Futures Development Corporation of the Shuswap is a community-driven volunteer based not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to facilitate the development of a sustainable diversified economy within the Shuswap area.

Community Futures offers a variety of services to new, existing or expanding businesses that include business loans, technical support, training and information. Community Futures is also involved in a wide array of community initiatives including research and feasibility studies and the implementation of community projects. It has its roots in two separate organizations, Shuswap Ventures and Shuswap Community Futures Committee.
