Community Futures-Shuswap fills Board of Directors and Business Development Committee positions on an annual or an as need basis.
The process for appointment to either the Board of Directors or the Business Development Committee is:
- Contact the General Manager to inquire about current or upcoming vacancies
- Write a letter of introduction expressing your interest in becoming involved in Community Futures-Shuswap to:

Include a copy of a current resume which outlines relevant skills and experiences
- The Board Recruitment Committee will review all letters of interest annually or as needed and will contact prospective members to further discuss potential involvement and opportunities.
- The Board Recruitment Committee will bring forward their recommendations to the Board of Directors. The decision of the Board of Directors will be returned to all applicants in writing within 30 days.
Every effort is made to ensure that our Board of Directors has adequately representation by community members from across our service area. Interested residents of Community Futures- Shuswap service area are eligible to be considered for an appointment to the Board of Directors and/or Business Development Committee and are encouraged to express their interest to the Board Recruitment Committee.
