In 2007/08 Community Futures-Shuswap affirmed its commitment to ensuring community engagement and partnership development was brought to the forefront of its operations. A Community Development portfolio with a staffed position was created with a mandate to engage our communities and act as a catalyst to bring community partners and stakeholders together to create viable solutions and opportunities for common community issues.
